Why Natural Preventative Healthcare?
Some of us have organized healthcare, usually provided by your employer, and some of us don’t. And I have found there is little being offered, in a credible, organized manner, to those of us that either have a choice or not, to get real good basic information on preventative health options. I have come to enjoy and be truly fascinated by natural therapies, food/diet choices and supplements.
So off I go on this journey, since 1984, to become studied in fitness and nutrition, of which I am a specialist, Reflexology, aromatheapy, flower essences, homeopathy, herbs, vitamin mineral supplements and so much more. It seemed everytime I had some sort of health issue, I found a practitioner or two and that would start another “eye-opening” discovery about myself.
I think that is really the best part about natural preventative healthcare, as I call it, because you really discover yourself. And so many neat people. Things that I just never heard of and certainly not normal medical jargon. Speaking of which…..Start talking about natural therapies, supplements, etc. and leave my customers in the dust.
That’s what I really want to share is the basic beginning steps to living a healthy preventative lifestyle and introducing natural therapies that you may or may not have heard of, some interesting information about supplements and combining homeopathy, aromatherapy, flower essences, herbs, color therapy, self help products, and so much more into your daily routine or when needed. And of course, addressing health issues that are bound to come up or exist. This is a fun journey, with no harmful side effects, at least not in my experience. One always has to be careful. But when properly educated and informed, one can usually make a sensible, safe decision before trying anything. Nothing is ever to replace medical help, for it truly has its place. Just that when you choose to go the preventative route, hopefully this need is few and far between.
And that’s the trump card. Get to know thyself. And not get left in the dust.
